If the rope is real dirty, a good wash might help. Maybe try washing the rope with pure soap and a propper rope brush.
How do you coil that rope ,do you like fold it over to avoid twists or kinda rolling it up in a way that causes twist ? You probably allready know how to coil rope iether over shoulders & behind your neck or holding with one hand and lapping the rope in folds or can be done over your knee. Another idea might be to recoil the rope again the day after climbing. That way the strains and strands have relaxed and gets stored untwisted. It's not science but just a suggestion. |
