Hey Mr Mulch, Personally I find it hard to go past the MacPac Torree (about 80l). Done all sorts of crazy big trips with it. Like James McIntosh says (this may in case you don't know has done more walking already in some of the most remote places you'll get to than many people would do in 3 lifetimes!) try the pack on with a similar weight to what you are planning on carrying. I sympathise. I've done the bash up to Balor hut with my dad's old crappo pack full of crap (I think it was I about 40kg!) and arrived needing a physio! (just as well I finally met a cute one! Where was she back then?). So yeah either find yourself a cute physio or a pack that fits you and works for you (or even better - both!)
