just wanted a bit more of an opnion for double rope (8mm mammuts) vs the mammut serenity (8.9mm single plus a 6mm rap rope) planning mostly to climb alpine grade 2/3 in NZ/world wide (ice/snow routes) - heading to NZ for a year (so ice in winter) and summer mtneering. main disad for the doubles if teh extra weight - about 600g and main disad for the single roep is risk of rockfall. does anyone have any extra viewpts? - i already have a rock rope but really want to shave weight.
