I dont think i would like to shock load static webbing even over a meter or less onto a natural belay. Senario. clipped into an qualised natural belay (2-3 peices) climber falls one pops, causes a small shock load on the daisy chain and the stitching tears and rips dropping you 50cm-1m shock loading the remaining 1-2 peices of natural gear. 300kg isnt that much. i would prefer the metolius solution.
