I used a new Panasonic 28.8v cordless hammer today. Drilling in granite. Lovely lovely bit of kit. Leaving aside the fact that it was brand new with a brand new drillbit, it just tore through the rock. Nicely balanced, not too heavy, good sling anchoring points. Very impressive. The only silly 'feature' was a tiny LED light built into the front of the drill. I guess if you were having to drill at night it might be useful, but it seemed like a gimmick to me.
