I heard back from the 5.10 distributors. So the Verdes are a slightly different model to the Anasazi's. As Bomber Pro said, the Verdes have the new Onyx rubber and are slightly stiffer - at least initially.
Apparently 5.10 are also going to be doing a new version of the Anasazi's (lace-ups) with the new improved heel cup (and in a different colour). They say it should be available in Australia "sometime early next year".
I've got narrow feet and found the velcro's heel is good for heel-hooking, but of course a lace-up would be easier to crank up really tight if need be. |
