I've been using a pair of the new version Anasazi velcros for the last few months. The heel is totally redesigned and is for sure a major improvement on the previous heel.

Re the lace-ups, what I THINK is happening is that the Anasazi lace-up is unchanged and they are bringing in a new model - - the Verde - - which is like an Anasazi but with the new heel and a few other changes. Info at www.fiveten.com

I've just queried the 5.10 importers about if/when the Verde will be available and will let you know what I find out. Some disclosure here (not that anyone else bothers), I've got an informal very low-level 5.10 "sponsorship" with the importers. Though I'll probably be paying for the Verde. They look great.
