If I were a rich man,
Tweedle deedle dum,
I'd buy myself some climbing gear,
then go and have some fun.

I'd climb all across Australia,
from Frog to Grampians,
When I got bored, I'd cross the sea
to conquer El Capitan.

Alas I'm not a rich man (yet)
but only a poor student,
I scraped together some pay cheques
and on a cheap-skate trip i went.

We went to the Blueys
and climbed at many crags.
NSW is spoilt with cliffs,
just a shame bout all the fags!

We spent some time at Piddo,
Mt York and Katoomba too.
First day I dogged a 14,
The last I sent a 22.

"BUT ITS ONLY SPORT!" I hear you say,
And I certainly agrees,
If you want to do REAL climbing,
come down to Arapiles!
