synthrtic bag is not bad ,its warm even if you bag get wet plus you can use it for long time(mine is already 10 yrs old and the older one still works) any brand okay
make sure to have a good mat and have a alpine cocoon bivy for extreme weather and to have a good tent is one factor too
also have a good layers with a down jacket is good will keep you warm,a good insulation layers will give you lighter warmer
layering works best in mountaineering...if you know how to layer.. synthetic bag is fine even in alps. |
