ive gone synthetic for a few years now. doesnt matter if it gets wet and great belay jackets. just put it
over your other layers no matter the conditions. ill only use a down jacket when its super cold and dry.
himalayan winter!
can recommend the patagonia das parka (very warm)- used in nepal
or the lighter weight patagonia puffball jacket. (used in patagonia)
they both have hoods and water resistant coatings.
the wear on earth jackets are pretty good if you decide to go down that path.
whatever you decide. get one with a hood. |
