slide film should always be stored in the fridge. it has been factored into the films chemistry that it will remain at approx. 4degrees until it is used. Likewise it is designed to be loaded into the camera and then used almost straight away so as to produce best results. It shouldnt be left in the camera body for weeks on end.
even if you have stored it in the fridge you should still use pro film before its best before date.

On the other hand, your everyday run of the mill neg film has been created with it mind that it probably wont be refridgerated, will be in the camera for 3 months or so before all the frames are used then sit around for a bit before being processed.

josh do you cut and mount your own slides? that a good way to save heaps on your processing costs.
