I'm talking about girth hitching a tree for the purpose of an anchor. Bomber Proof just answered my question in a pm. Living in the US and working for an wilderness school has its down sides, mainly we have to set up top rope anchors they way the state tells us to and they tell us to use a girth hitch around trees and I was wondering if by tying figure 8's or overhand knots in the webbing just in case the webbing was to break I would not lose the anchor completely.
Thanks again Bomber Proof |
