It depends what you are thinking of doing with it, of course you are using it to land on when bouldering but are you into highball problems (i.e. want a bigger mat) or will you be carrying it a long way (need a lighter more compact mat with good carrying straps).
'Standard' sizes appear to be around 1200 long x 900 wide x 80 thick but there are smaller and larger.
You can get a diagonal cut centre fold so rocks don't poke through the fold so easy.
You'll need a carry strap but for most bouldering the less buckles, straps, handles, pockets, clips etc the better. Keep it simple/light.
If you get a taco/burrito style store it flat.
