Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I did mean a munter hitch using both ropes on one HMS. I saw it used recently by a friend with some eight years climbing experience and have used it since.However, I have been troubled by the different rates of feed and concommitant friction entailed by this system and I am keen to try your system with two munters on separate biners. As for the Reverso, I am tempted to have a go with it again, but I’ve heard that a new version of the black diamond ATC-XP with Reverso-like capabilities will soon be out. There’s nothing to soothe a troubled mind like retail therapy! |
