Looks like a nasty crampon scratch... Seriously though, I ripped the thin top section on my OR gaiters, and had them repaired with thin weight cordura and ordinary nylon thread. You could perform the same repair yourself for only a few $. Use dabs of seam sealer to hold the shredded gore-tex onto the cordura, this may also help with the sewing If all that sounds too hard, send the boot / gaiter down to Remote Equipment
