While I have no personal experience in resoling shoes, I'd be slightly concerned that patching a hole could actually cause problems for the next resole if the glue used for the patch bonded to the leather and couldn't be removed. To prevent that, you could try putting a tiny piece of tape over the hole, just large enough to cover any exposed leather, and then put the Shoe Goo or Freesole on in a wider layer over that, so that it only bonds to the rubber. |
