I agree, although I've also found the wallnuts can be harder to remove - maybe a good thing though (having said that, I've only used them a few times).

I also agree with this - I've got a couple and never use them.
And I definately agree that "the brand you learn the craft with will become the standard for you throughout your career". I first got Smileys because they were the cheapest MDs had many moons ago. I think they work pretty well for most my needs, and the BD nuts I've got compliment them well.
RPs are great, must haves I reckon, the larger ones too, and even though they look so blocky, often fit where none of my other nuts will fit. I think my eclectic rack of nuts (due to buying size fill-ins, getting presents, finding booty, etc) is actually quite useful, because different types of rock/ climbs/ placements require different shaped nuts. |
