I've been climbing for just over a year now and am at the stage of putting together a rack. I'm looking at getting a set of nuts in the very near future but am just wondering about a few things.

It seems apparrent that there's a big difference between good cams and bad cams, but is there really such a things as bad nuts? I would assume that most nuts on the market are very similar and just as easy to place as the next brand. Is this so?

I'm basically down to choosing between 2 sets - BD and Metolius. The Metolius set looks real nice, but the BD set is cheaper as well as coming with a wire gate for racking. If a more expensive purchase is going to have any advantages I don't mind spending the difference, but the BD's do seem good value. What about Wild Country rocks?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
