I've used a Betamid which allows you to dig in a bit . . . The Megamid is probably better though IMHO They now do light versions. Avg 680gms on the Beta, and avg 1.27kg/ min 1.05kg for the Mega . . My Betamid sets up really quickly, and just about anywhere.. We got hit by a bit of harsh weather walking in the other and year and in a few minutes we were in the tent in a hollow behind a bolder brewing up ....
