The autolocking mode of the guide for belaying seconds is piss easy and works for both one and two seconds nicely; HOWEVER, lowering a second who has weighted and locked the the device is non-trivial and should be practiced in a non-vertical situation. I learned a very hard lesson about this. I am very lucky and my second was luckier. Stick with the plain old ATC style device. Learn good belay habits.
