It's easy. If you are going to climb at all. Get a Dynamic rope. If you are going to abseil, get a dynamic rope as you will soon find that abseiling sucks and want to climb. If you want to canyon. Get a canyon rope that floats. Goto Climbing Anchors website for any of the above. And don't top rope. If you must for some strange unknown reason, the dynamic rope Must go through a set of quick draws at the anchor. Do not thread the rope through the anchors and then top rope. It wears the anchors dramatically.
