Just thought i might mention these carbide tip chisels.

I use these carbide tip chisels for shaping bassalt in use on dry lay stone walls. And they chew it up. Compared to a standard cold chisel which would need sharpening after one day of work, the carbide tip chisel will do a month or sometimes 2 months before it need sharpening.

Using this chisel would easily chip a beautiful notch out in the hardest granite in about 1 minute flat.
