If you mean 'climbing car' re 4WD then anything that can't be manually put into 4WD with hi/lo isn't really a 4WD in my books. AWD at best and not a 4WD. The other really important thing with 4WD is clearance. VERY VERY important. No point 4WD if you can't use it because your vehicle can't get over something due to being too low. Would never get a Subaru again or wagon style vehicle. Only thought it was cool as a bit longer to sleep in but I'm almost 190cm.
If your friend is after a 4WD then get one but a RAV4 is not one, nor other SUVs in that class. |
