Hey Ben. How was El Portrero? did you check out that 10 pitch climb for me?
Anyway I learnt a really easy way in Thailand to seal the end of a rope. What you do is wrap a piece of sports tape around the end of it. Use a knife or something and cut the rope in the middle of the sports tape and then use a lighter and burn the end of it (with sports tape on it and burn well!). Wait until it cools down and pull off the sports tape, I found that method worked after I had to re-seal my rope after every climbing session. |
