Goretex have a lifetime "guarantee to keep you dry" warranty. However, when I tried to claim against it for a near new leaky rain coat, they declined to honor the warranty on the grounds that it had numerous minute perforations consistent with wearing it in prickly vegetation. Needless to say, I have never bought a Goretex product since. JamesMc
