The totem is a very nice cam. I found I trusted them more than many other brands in a placement and they often fitted a lot nicer in tricky placements. However you are right about the wide stem tangling. They did tangle more often so I can see that being an advantage. I thought the problems with the aliens had a lot to do with the design. And there main appeal was the smallest ones which were superior to many other brands. The smallest models not being featured on the website
