i use myus.com and thoroughly recommend them. Will strip unnecessary packaging and if you join as a premium member (marginally more upfront fee's) you get discounted shipping rates, worth it if you're going to do it regularly. They also let you add a bunch of names to the account so you can, for example, let your mates use it as well with no problems. The premium DHL option is the same cost (to australia) as the normal DHL and normally get's to me within 72 hours of arriving at myus.com. All that said, i've not used any other forwarders so I don't know how it compares.
