Yes, cloting is cheaper there, make sure you bargain though. With regards to technical rockclimbing gear, I did not find it that cheap but there won't be much rocklimbing on Lobuje and Kyjo Ri. Ice-climbing tools are better priced and bigger choice. So, if your company rents you all the technical gear (don't forget to check crampons fit) then everything else you can buy in KTM. Agree with Damo666 on the boots, get them in advance. Good luck, make sure you acclimatise well. Thinking about Lobuje East myself...
