They're good. I have a couple for the school I work at and they have made the powers that be much happier about our activities. One of the better things about them is the option to start up a public page that allows people to watch your progress as you go. Every time you press the OK button it will put a point on your web page for others to follow. I have found the interest that it has developed amongst other staff amazing as they can see how fast/slow a hiking group is, then send a text to congratulate/give crap to the leader as the situation requires (only if you're on Telstra with the right handset). The pre-programmed messages are a bit limited (only a small amount of characters, around a single text message length) and can't be changed on the go but are reassuring all the same.
