i much prefer a taco style hinge and a full flap so i can put all my gear in with out the worry of it falling out...
generally i like it to sit high on my back, but when in timbered area's like anderson's @ the gramps a pad that sits lower on your back would be handy for walking under branches
as for falling on, i also prefer a taco to a split hinge
the harness on flashed pads are great, as is the foam and overall construction
i like my little revolution spot pad, but the harness and clousure lets it down a bit.. but for a small pad and bang for buck... a+
but for my next purchase... organic full pad + half pad(or suitcase pad) |
