Ha, I did the same thing recently - 15+ years with Optus. Hate that Telstra has stifled the industry, particularly regarding broadband. But last year they finally got competitive with prices & data allowances....have gone to the dark side & couldn't be happier. Coverage is far, far superior & data speeds are massively superior. The final straw with Optus was when we moved & couldn't even get reception inside our weatherboard house in inner-west Newport, VIC! But Telstra have managed to stuff our bill up every month for the past 5 months - still keep having to go into the shop/call & keep getting credits applied. Absolutely useless in that regard.
