Wollemi, try attaching your reverso to a short sling girth hitched to your belay loop, running the rope straight up and down (i.e, between your feet) rather than around your waist. The technical sheet for the reverso describes this pretty clearly. Much simpler, easier to manoeuvre, and fewer problems with friction as you've described. |
