Best long lasting batteries are gel cells. 12v, 7amp/hr from jay-car for about $25 each. Get two of these put them in series and you'll have a 24v battery pack. Put the batteries in a back pack or shoulder bag and have a lead to the drill, this makes the drill in ya hand lighter also. Iv'e never fully flattened this style battery in a days bolting on my Bosch, 80+ 12mm holes!! You can charge the batteries individually off a standard car battery charger or buy a 24v charger (about $100). Iv'e also hauled these batteries up multipitch routes in the Bungles to replace anchors no worries.
