O.T : re-waterproofing Gortex jacket |

On a recent ski trip I noticed my not very old Berghaus Gortex jacket was wetting out.
Whilst I didn't seem to be getting wet, I noticed the water on my mates' coats was beading and not soaking in. In an attempt to re-waterproof my coat I used a 'wash-in' Nik Wax product then ironed it when dry. Unfortunately this process was only partially successful.
What have other people done ?
Used Revivex and then tumble dried ?
