One of the original Dragon samples had the thumb loop ala the C4 but the doubled dyneema sling tore through the wire at about 10kn. DMM wanted to retain the doubled dyneema sling and this was one of the reasons DMM went back to the drawing board to redesign them.

Havent seen 6mm dyneema slings yet, but sounds scary :)
