I have the new one, and it's sweet. Some new routes, some new areas, a GREAT history chapter. The guide book producers certainly aren't chilling on their yacht with a cigar and a scotch right now. A fantastic job involving a stupendous amount of work, and one of the best quality guides I've ever owned (and man, I own a lot from around the world). I like supporting them and Australian climbing, and at the end of the day, each edition is a little souvenir and a piece of Australian climbing history that I shall fondly flick through when I am 80 and climbing is banned and I can't move from arthritis anyway. |
