Hi Douglas, I can't give you any qualitive answers but I have wondered the same thing (how will it
look in 10 years?). I bought one (non-stick) last year and started using wooden implements from
day one as I'd seen what one looks like when metal implements are used (5 or so years old) as
Cat says. I even use a bit of paper or plastic to separate the pots when stored.

I think the qualility of the Teflon used is pretty heavy duty. I bought a cheap (Kmart) wok, to use
in tandem with my trangia, when camping for 3 weeks recently and it started to flake after the 2nd
week (and yes I know that Teflon doesn't like being too hot); the Trangia just wouldn't do this.

As mine has only been used occasionally for 6 months I can't vouch for it's durability, but yes
even by being very careful minimal scratches have occured but these are FAR from being an
issue yet. The positives so far is that it's a dream to clean, no scraping or scrubbing required
(often a wipe is enough) and you need less oil for frying.
