Wax on rope bad? |

The wax itself won't (some of my slings etc have surf wax on them) have any effect at all, however the dirt and sand grains that sick to it will certainly do some long term damage. Unfortunately the only way to get rid of wax in its entirety is to use a wax/grease remover which will most certainly destroy your rope :-( |
