For yonks kti have been trying to get their new Mini-Sat 406Mhz PLB approved and on the shelves. For those of you who do not know what this is, it is an emergency beacon like an EPIRB (but EPIRBS don't work anymore, they went the way of the CDMA phone...) Last I heard (from a wild mag) was that they should be on the market early this month. Is there anyone out there who has any inside info on when? I couldn't be bothered asking kti, I wouldn't trust their word as far as i could drop them. And considering i don't have them on belay, that is not very far.... Rob
