If you re read my posting i gave my reasons for not trying to find the owner of the draw.
i was waiting for a thread as per Ruuna's below.

Hi Melbournians

This is my first post on chockstone, and a sad one at that... Has anyone come across a lonely rope on Melbourne's trains? Last Thursday morning (26.11.2009) I forgot my climbing rope (blue, in a black rope bag) on the Aalamein line towards Flinders Street or, alternatively, on the Sandringham line from Richmond.

I know it's a long shot, but worth a try anyway.

Perhaps i am WRONG again Summit Theresa, but this is what should of happened when the draw was lost.
