the only time you will see a daisy chain (or two) on my harness is when aid climbing.

I also dont like to clip in safe just with a daisy chain, i nearly always use the rope or a sling, but i think having two on your harness makes sense when aiding.
It keeps you attached to the lower peice/ higher piece of gear, and helps on steep stuff when your cliping into the daisy to gain height,
the scariest thing about not using daises would be when hooking, i can see you moving on to a higher hook and accidently kicking out the bottom placement and losing your aider and hook, if your not going to use daisies i would at least have some sort of attachment to your aider
