Yep, bought the Hammerhead 2 from Mountain Hardware. Just got back from a trip up the Snowy River. Awesome for this kind of hiking.
Even though it's rated at 2 people, you could actually fir 3 with some comfort, which is unusual, since you normally need a 3man to fit 2 people. Also another great feature that no one has talked about here is the ability to be pitched at extreme influences of alcohol (only bend 1 peg). It's all well and good above/below snow-line, blizzards and rain, but after drinking, this is where it's at!!!
Seriously though, I'm very happy with it as a general hiking tent. 2entrances make it easy for those midnight exits without waking the other and both sides have storage under the fly. 3 poles also make it sturdy in wind, but have not tested it in rain yet. (note to self: seal seams)
Verdict: very happy with this 3+ season tent and I can see my stars at night. The only downside I can see, is that there is only 2 guy-rope attachments and even though it is very slipstreamed, I would prefer to have at least 1 more.
Got a super price on it as well. Think it was $325 down from $499 Happy with that. Snowgum in Moorabbin was great and the manager there is very helpful, not like their city store as I mentioned earlier (wouldn't budge on cost).
