To keep it short, its not the Amperage you charge at that will kill the battery. The charge voltage is more important. Once bulk charge (ie the charge comes off current limit) the battery will more or less become self regulating in that regard.
If you can supply me with some info from the label on the battery I can tell you how to charge it properly. Dont use your supa-crap charger unless you want to buy some new batteries.
As a general rule of thumb no battery should ever be discharged below 80% of its rated capacity. Below that you fall into the area where damage will occur or lifespan will be shortened. |
