Bought a Meteor 3 when they hit the market, very happy with it in general but one of the stitched in points where the straps attach to the bucket broke for no reason other than wear and tear: repaired it on the rockface and its still going strong. Don't find them too bad dings wise in general use and have taken a few rocks on the head whilst wearing it so can attest that they work. Can't give comparison re: BD.
Such an advance on the mountaineering style helmets in non/mountain settings that I wear it 100% of the time...driving, in restaurants, bed...you can never be too safe :) |
