G'day all, I have been using the slider nuts for about 10 years and love em for thin cracks. As phil said ..place em, a long sling and leave em. And have fallen on them.
As for trango v camp. both come from the same factory and stamped differently as far as i understand. I've had one from each company in my hand and looked.
Pinnacle gets both in depending on who we are ordering from at the time ( I work for pinnacle).
As for the rating. At the moment we a some of each in the smallest (blue) camp = 4kN and trango 7kN. the biggest (purple) both at 8kN. Both look identical, maybe camp has a different testing system in the smaller sizes? |
