Fall on wet rock |

Fell today about 6 meters trying to clip the 2nd bolt on a grade 11 climb. Angle of climb about 70 degrees.Very embarrassed and sore lower back. Managed to land on my belayer's foot. Maybe broke the fall a little. My own dumb fault as slightly damp on the rock and my belayer telling me to quit and go home. How does one control the excitement of climbing and realize it is best to go home? |
