Keep moving, but keep it low impact... As far as pain goes, crying 1 tear may not be too bad but more than one is bad... in other words bad pain is a warning sign for further damage... ;) Good low impact exercise... * walking, swimming, yoga, pilates etc Massage is good too, or some gentle basic stretching - eg leaning youre bum on a wall, feet about 30cm out from wall gently bend forward taking hands towards feet, repeat 10 or more times. Another good one is lieing on ur back and keeping knees up/fixed, rotate arms/body left to right, so ur gently twisting. (these were given to me by a physio for back probs I had, and relieved alot of tension). As others have said, look after ur back u need it!!!
