My Girlfriend just had one aspirated on her wrist... basically there are 3 options apparently; 1. Surgery 2. Cortisone injection 3. Aspiration Aspiration is where they use ultrasound and basically suck the "liquid" out, apparently this hurts a fair bit but doesn't leave a scar. Cortisone injection helps kill off the fluid, they seem to do this along with the aspiration, or at least that's how it went for the g/f, she wasn't keen on a scar so it seems like the easier solution.
