Torn rib muscle |

I tore a muscle from its rib last w/e. Did the same thing just over a year ago, same side but more to the front. Bottom of the rib cage. I would have thought the first injury might have created a weakness but this one was further to the side. The first one effected my breathing. Extraordinarily painful. With both I was arched hard to the left on a side pull on a difficult route. The tear was on the inside, compressed, side of my chest.
A specialist doctor said that time is the only cure. Is there any training that can be done to strengthen this area or does a tear heal to make it stronger ? |
