Hi all,

Well done to the people who turned out to assist these people. Sounds like a big night out...

Was ARG involved? If so, how long did it take to get there?

I am interested to know what happens in this scenario when there is a fractured femur or pelvis involved? Or a spinal injury etc.

How does ARG (SES) and the individuals who make up the rescue crew feel about being responsible for managing major injuries in these circumstances.

Is there a formal plan for when Helicopter EMS is unavailable and seriously injured climbers are in an inaccessible (ARG only access) situation, or is it managed in a case by case manner.

I would be interested to read what persons with rescue / medical expertise from outside Victoria think and do in these type of situations.
